Maths in the summer holidays

The summer school holidays is a long time for children to be away from their studies. However, it is also an ideal time for a student to catch up. If a child is worried about maths and could do with a helping hand, the summer holidays is the ideal time for extra lessons. One lessons a week could make a difference. A more intensive course might be the best solution for some students so that greater gains can be made faster. Excelr8 Learning Writing Competition Winners
Sanjit attents Ridgefield Primary in Cambridge and is thrilled with his win.
Congratulations to the 3 winners of this year’s competition. They are Sanjit Acharya (Year 4), Scarlett Mattingly-Peck (Year 5) and Annapuna Austin (Year 8). All three students attend Cambridge Schools and they received their prizes on June 18th at Excelr8 Learning Milton. They each also won £200 for their schools. The schools’ prizes will be awarded in July. Excelr8 Learning is proud to be sponsoring children’s writing and pleased to be able to support 3 local schools in this way.
Maths transition from Year 6 to Year 7
It can be quite a large jump for some students from Year 6 to Year 7 and maths can sometimes be one of those vital subjects that children struggle with.
