Private Tuition- How it works
Firstly we provide a FREE TRIAL for all new students.
During the free trial we carry out National Curriculum assessments to identify a child's learning gaps. We ask parents to let us know exactly what they would like to achieve from the private tuition lessons. Our experienced teachers then devise a personalised learning programme for each child that targets the child's needs and also addresses the parents' goals for the private tuition.
Regular weekly education
Students attend one or more regular lesson every week with our inspiring and enthusiastic teachers. Lessons are held after school during the week and on Saturdays. lessons last for 1 1/4 hours. Being so highly focussed, Excelr8 Learning lessons enable significant progress to be made. Children enjoy the close attention of the teacher in small groups of a maximum of 5 children per teacher.
Supported by excellent learning resources
We continually research the market to ensure we provide the best computer-aided learning resources available. All of the resources we use are approved for UK schools. This ensures that there is never any conflict between the lessons provided in an Excelr8 Learning Education Centre compared to what children are learning at scool.Â
Comfortable, colourful settings
Kids enjoy an encouraging and rewarding learning environment. It's a great way to encourage their interest in learning. Our students are normally pleased to attend and often reluctant to leave!
Who is Private Education for?
There are many reasons why parents decide to provide their children with supplementary private tuition.
- Sometimes it's because a child is struggling at school.
- Often parents are keen to ensure their child does as well as possible in the National Assessments such as SATs and GCSEs.
- Some parents aim to ensure their child achieves the very best of which he or she is capable, even though their child may be already doing well at school .
- Other parents may be trying to ensure their child passes an Entrance Exam to obtain a place in a fee paying school.
- Somtimes it's because students have learning difficulties assocated with for example dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, A.D.H.D. amongst others.
- Home tutored children are often brought to us for regular weekly lessons as part of their structured learning programme.
There are many and varied reasons why parents seek the services of a professionally operated private tutoring centre. Whatever your reasons, contact us and we'll be pleased to discuss with you how we can assist.
